Nominations for the ISOA 2024 Global Impact Awards

Each year ISOA member companies achieve extraordinary accomplishments, providing inspiration to our entire stability operations community. ISOA celebrates those extraordinary efforts through our annual Global Impact Awards program.

 

AWARDS CATEGORIES

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Seven Awards: One award each for Tiers 1-Plus, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6

  • Provide recent examples over the past two years that demonstrate your organization's proudest achievements/efforts in work in stability, contingency, disaster, or recovery operations. Include the specific program, country, and program or activity goals.

Three awards: Large Company (Tiers 1-Plus, 1, and 2), Medium Company (Tiers 3 and 4), Small Company (Tiers 5 and 6)

  • Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, many organizations have provided heroic efforts in support of the Ukraine Government and to the Ukrainian population.
  • Organizations that have received government contract or international donor funding can describe their extraordinary work involving assistance to the Ukrainian military, National and Provincial Governments, conflict-affected host communities as well as assistance to humanitarian and civic organizations inside Ukraine and surrounding allied nations. You are encouraged to accentuate your partnership with Ukrainian and surrounding allied nations host communities.
  • Programming might include providing materiel and product-specific support to Ukraine as well as implementation of donor assistance focused on health, education, supply chains & logistics services, training and capacity development, anti-corruption and improved compliance programming, energy and electrical infrastructure support, de-mining programs, etc.
  • ISOA welcomes nominations for programming that supports Ukraine refugees and internally displaced persons inside Ukraine and/or within neighboring countries. If your programming specifically targeted conflict-affected women and children, please be sure to note that.
  • If applicable, describe details of your work regarding the ongoing Ukraine humanitarian crisis that has resulted in many international organizations providing humanitarian assistance, including food, shelter, sanitation, medicines and basic living assistance for large segments of affected Ukrainian populations.
  • Provide examples of your organization’s proudest achievements/efforts but please clearly document these achievements so ISOA judges can validate nominations to ISOA’s award standards.

  • To survive and thrive in today's business environment, organizations must continually create new techniques, processes, procedures, and approaches to solve modern-day problems and challenges.
  • Please describe your activities and efforts to innovate with a new or more technologically advanced approach to a challenge our industries face on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrate how this innovation improved your program's efficiency, effectiveness, and overall program performance.
  • This innovation can be through a value-added service or a product of any dimension.

Two awards: Large Company (Tiers 1-Plus, 1 & 2), Medium & Small Company (Tiers 3, 4, 5 & 6)

ISOA's WPS Certification Program supports the following WPS tenets:

For maturing and advancing its commitment to the Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017, The United States strives to promote the inclusion of women in conflict prevention, resolution, and post-conflict stabilization efforts. Your leadership and engagement of women in fragile environments promotes more democratic and prosperous societies and is critical to the advancement of peace and stability around the world.

  • Please provide recent examples over the past two years which demonstrate your organization’s proudest and most significant achievements/efforts in capacity building and/or stabilization to advance the imperatives of WPS. Include the specific program and country and how you included women in conflict prevention, mitigation or resolution and post-conflict stabilization efforts.

The Awards are based on the following tiers to reflect company size:

  • Tier 1-Plus: Over $2 billion
  • Tier 1: $500 million to $2 billion
  • Tier 2: $200.1 million to $500 million
  • Tier 3: $100.1 million to $200 million
  • Tier 4: $20.1 million to $100 million
  • Tier 5: $3.1 million to $20 million
  • Tier 6 (Small Business): $3 million or less

Your Award nomination will be reviewed by an independent, unbiased, four-judge panel. After your submission is received, all references to your company name and identity will be redacted so that the judges will review and adjudicate your nomination purely on the merits of your submission.

  • Please limit your entire response to the below questions for a TOTAL of no more than three pages. The total of three pages is your combined response, NOT three pages per award category. Include the full text of each Award category (listed below) in each response. Use Times New Roman font, in 11 pitch, single-spaced, with normal page margins. Provide text only – no images, pictures, photos, or graphics of any sort.
  • Each of your Award submissions are to be based on your company’s work over the past two years. Please do not use examples from a previous ISOA award submission.
  • ISOA recommends focusing your nomination to one category but reserves the right to give the award in another category.

For All Submissions, your three-page nomination should include:

  1. Company Name, POC name and contact info
  2. A brief background/summary of your company to include the countries where your company operates, core competencies, corporate initiatives undertaken that serve to develop, align, and support these core competencies, and any other helpful background information.
  3. Transparency, accountability, ethical conduct, and respect for human rights are hallmarks of our ISOA member companies and communities. Please provide one example over the past two years in which your company demonstrated a commitment to these time-tested attributes as part of your overarching commitment to human rights. Share any challenges or adversities you faced.
