We suggest you download the free app from the Apple app store or Google Play and register your data before you arrive. When you arrive in the UAE, you may be administered a PCR test at the airport; the results will be registered on the Alhosn app for your use in entering restaurants, hotels, malls, and other establishments while you are in the UAE. In addition, the US Department of State has recently provided the following guidance:U.S. citizens who choose to travel internationally should make contingency plans, as they may have to remain in a foreign country longer than originally planned. The Department recommends international travel insurance with coverage for COVID-related trip cancellation and medical benefits. In general, Medicare and Medicaid do not cover overseas medical costs. We will continue to keep you updated with the latest COVID guidelines as we receive them. This is provided to you based on our best understanding of the current requirements, but it is the individual’s responsibility to ensure they follow all the latest airline and medical directives. |
