ISOA Cosponsors Afghan Refugee Job Fair on March 31, 2022

Thursday, March 24, 2022

AACC, SID-W, ISOA, UAA & BRAZEN PROUDLY ANNOUNCE:

Afghan SIV Refugee Parolee Virtual Job Fair

Thursday, March 31, 2022  9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT US | 5:30 - 8:30 PM Kabul

The United States Government and the American people have worked hard to open their arms to welcome over 70,000 Afghan SIV refugee parolees into more than 100 communities across the country. Local community groups, faith-based organizations, resettlement agencies, charities and retired military and service organizations and trade associations have stood up to be sure our Afghan allies are welcomed. To help ease the transition of Afghanistan refugees, we are holding a virtual job fair with prospective employers in the U.S. or internationally for Afghan SIV Refugee Parolees. The virtual job fair will be hosted online through the Brazen platform, an extremely robust and easy-to-use platform designed specifically for virtual recruitment. It allows for one-on-one meetings with recruiters using text, audio, or video. Job seekers will be able to upload their resume and other key information into their profiles which will be shared with all participating organizations after the event to help facilitate follow-up.  This free job fair is only open to Afghan SIV refugee parolees.

If you are an Afghan SIV refugee parolee and would like to attend, please register at https://app.brazenconnect.com/events/j3Axp/login

If you are interested in participating as a prospective hiring organization, please email Elijah Enis at eenis@sidw.org with your organization name and key points of contact including name(s) and email(s). There is no cost for hiring organizations to participate in the job fair.
