VICTORY THROUGH SUSTAINMENT & C-UAS:
Maximizing Effectiveness of Ongoing Security Contributions to UkraineKurhaus Wiesbaden, Salon Ferdinand Hey ’l, Kurhausplatz 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany
This Event is Sold Out!On November 7 in Wiesbaden, Germany, ISOA will host the next in its series of military-industry workshops focusing on sustainment and Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) support for Ukraine. This will be the fourth event, following three similar workshops
hosted last year at the US Embassy in Berlin. These events included representatives from U.S. and allied defense industry, military representatives from SAG-U, the German MOD, Ukraine and several Defense Attachés as well as representatives of industry
supporting Ukraine. The November 7 event will bring together officials from the military industry with presence in Ukraine and Security Cooperation officials to discuss opportunities to stronger support Ukraine regarding sustainment, training and
C-UAS.
The previous events welcomed representatives and officials from the German defense manufacturing industry, the German Ministry of Defense (MOD), U.S. military and security cooperation organizations, and military attachés from the UK, Poland, Norway and
Ukraine. Discussions focused on the changing nature of required sustainment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which had reached a new phase and required new solutions to resolve delays in procurement, delivery, and sustainment processes as the Ukrainian
Armed Forces (UAF) seek more efficient and practical means of sustainment. Discussions also addressed the future of the Ukrainian Armed Forces structure as it procures more standardized, NATO-interoperable combat systems rather than its current hodge-podge
of multiple equipment and platforms.
The workshop attendees expressed interest in participating in future events and advocated that the results of the workshops be shared among all workshop invitees, in particular as well as political decision makers.
