ISOA would like to invite you to a discussion and networking event featuring the delegation of Ukraine State Special Transport Service (Ukrainian: Державна спеціальна служба транспорту; abbrev: ДССТ, DSST). This event will provide a unique opportunity to engage with the Head of the Administration of the State Special Transport Service, Brigadier General Oleksandr Yakovets, and other key representatives from the DSST and gain insights into their crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of Ukraine's transportation system and energy infrastructure during the war and times of peace.

Background

The DSST is a specialized military unit under the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, established to guarantee reliable transportation operations. Their mandate encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces through technological cover and infrastructure renovation and building and maintaining national transportation facilities during peacetime and martial law. DSST is also tasked with reconstructing transportation systems affected by emergencies, protecting critical equipment, and fulfilling state defense duties. Additionally, the DSST is involved in decontaminating explosive materials in collaboration with international organizations and ensuring the stability and resilience of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
