Beyond Borders:

Intersections in Migration, Human Trafficking and National Security in a Digital Economy

May 22, 2024 | 6-10 p.m. EDT

Presented in partnership with Donovan Discussions by Arena Institute

ISOA is pleased to partner with Donovan Discussions by the Arena Institute to kick off the ISOA Anti-Human Trafficking Committee with this action-based discussion about human migration and trafficking.

Human migration and trafficking are intersectional issues that touch the public and private sectors, nationally and globally. Understanding how migration will impact public and private stakeholders in the next ten years will make us better prepared to have business interactions, effective domestic and foreign policy, and meaningful humanitarian objectives. The panelists will explore the risks and opportunities surrounding human migration, and how trafficking impacts them.

We're also pleased to welcome special guest Jim Sciutto for a discussion of his latest book, "The Return of Great Powers: Russia, China, and the Next World War."

7:00-8:30 p.m.: Panel Discussion
