ISOA Indo-Pacific Conference:
Bridging the Logistics and Sustainment Gap
May 16-17, 2024
Please join us on May 16 & 17 for this year's Indo-Pacific Conference focused on bridging the logistics and sustainment gap.
The Indo-Pacific Region holds the potential for conflict, and we must start to prepare now to deal effectively with the unique challenges we and our allies and partners face there. Importantly, the U.S. must continue to lead against China’s continued
saber-rattling with their threats to invade Taiwan and press their unfounded territorial claims elsewhere in the region. Bolstering our defenses and resources in the Indo-Pacific is essential to preventing conflict in that region. In our view,
given “the tyranny of time and distance” in providing support to our bases and that of our allies, closing the logistics and sustainment gap is a critical aspect of deterrence. We look forward to playing a role to help create public/private
partnerships to be successful in this mission.
Over the past several months, ISOA has held a series of Focused Discussions to explore this challening issue. The panel topics below have emerged from those discussions.
Panel topics include:
- The Fundamentals of Bridging the Gap
- Shrinking the Tyranny of Time & Distance
- The Energy Challenge
- Infrastructure's Role in Bridging the Logistics & Sustainment Gap
- The Role of the CAPS in Bridging the Logistics & Sustainment Gap
- Bridging the Gap: Soft Power
The conference will also include a Business Matchmaking Session as well as receptions on May 16 & May 17.
Tickets and sponsorships will be available soon!
